If you are just getting started on the internet -- or if you don't feel that your budget can afford even a modest sum for a larger site -- then this is a quick and painless way to begin. You can read about all of the features below or simply submit our free page input form. We'll do the rest.
WEB PAGE HOSTING: We will host a free business page for you, such as www.WashtenawWeb.com/yours, at no cost to you. We can do this because you'll be advertising our name, whenever you advertise yours. Everbody wins!
DOMAIN NAME: We will NOT provide you with your own domain name for a free business page, but what you CAN do is to select the "sub-directory" name that you wish to use, such as the "/yours" portion of the complete URL of "www.WashtenawWeb.com/yours". Since we do not have millions of users here (yet), you're very likely to be able to specify exactly how you'd like your name to read.
WEB PAGE DESIGN: As shown on the sample free page, we start with a basic template and then you tell us what content to add to it. Using our free page input form, it takes just a few minutes for you to design your message to the world. Corrections, address changes, staff updates, etc. can be done as often as needed, via our editing form. Complete revisions are available every 6 months.
E-MAIL: Every free business page comes with 1 e-mail account, such as you@WashtenawWeb.com. You can access your account from home or school, for example, or have your mail forwarded to any other account that you might have.
OTHER SERVICES: We stand ready to help in any way that we can -- with fast service and at reasonable fees. When you're ready to expand your web presence, perhaps one of our WashtenawWebSites packages would be a good choice for you. It's an inexpensive way to get started on a complete site of your own.
