WEB SITE HOSTING: If you choose to have a free business page such as www.WashtenawWeb.com/yours, then we will host it for you, at no cost to you. We can do this because you'll be advertising our name, whenever you advertise yours. Everbody wins!
Hosting is included in WashtenawWebSites packages, as part of the annual fee. And as resellers for Advanced Internet Technologies, one of the largest internet presence providers in the country, we can also offer all of the standard site hosting options that you might need.
DOMAIN NAME: If you choose to have a free business page, then you can select the "sub-directory" name that you wish to use, such as "www.WashtenawWeb.com/yours". We do NOT have millions of users here (yet), so you're very likely to be able to specify exactly how you'd like your name to read.
On the other hand, with a WashtenawWebSites package or with our "standard" services, we can secure a "top-level" domain name for you, such as "www.yourname.com". The challenge here, of course, is that literally millions of other people have already selected their domain names -- so you'll need to be more creative in selecting yours!
WEB SITE DESIGN: The design of your web site can range from very simple to very complicated -- the choice is yours. At the "simple" end of the range, if you choose to have a free business page, then you start with one of our templates and tell us what content to add to it.
With a WashtenawWebSites package, we'll help you design a full-featured 5 page web site. You can mix and match available options, to customize the package to fit your needs. Naturally, with our "standard" web services, we'll design a site to your specifications -- with all of the "bells and whistles" that you wish to include. We can tailor solutions to fit almost any budget.
E-MAIL: Every free business page comes with 1 e-mail account, such as you@WashtenawWeb.com. You can access your account from home or school, for example, or have your mail forwarded to any other account that you might have.
WashtenawWebSites packages come with up to 5 e-mail accounts, such as you@yourname.com. And we can provide an unlimited number of accounts, of course, with our "standard" web services. Just let us know what would be best for you.
